John Le Guen
John Le Guen specialises in financial services law, acting more particularly on the legal issues related to the development of FinTechs and blockchain technology (ICOs, smart contracts and post-market). He joined Gide’s Innovation & FinTech team from the French Financial Markets Authority legal affairs division, where he was involved in the field’s regulation (blockchain order and decree, PACTE law, ICO consultation).
John holds a Master’s degree in banking and financial law from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University, and a Master’s degree in financial law from Paris Dauphine University. He is currently preparing a PhD on Initial Coin Offerings.
