Pierre Karpik is a partner in Gide’s Mergers-Acquisitions/Corporate practice group. He specialises in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and corporate law.

Pierre is more particularly involved in venture capital and capital investment transactions notably in the high-tech sector as well as counsel to the investors (OTC Asset Management, A Plus Finance, 360 Capital Partners, Idinvest, Ventech, R Capital Management…) and as counsel to issuing companies (PriceMinister, Fortunéo, MeilleursAgents, BlaBla Car, Drivy…).  He advises the investments funds and the growth companies on their fund-raisings, their restructurings, their external growth transactions and on their exit.

Pierre has maintained close ties with the Hautes Etudes Commerciales school (HEC), and as such he provides there a training on the venture capital.

He is listed as leading individual in the Private Equity section of Chambers and Legal 500 guides, and ranked as “incontournable” in the Capital Investment rankings of the French review Décideurs.

Pierre was named « Lawyer of the Year » in venture capital in 2017 by American review Best Lawyers in France.
